Falcon National Bank is currently looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our St. Cloud location.
Job Overview: The Equipment Finance Accounts Receivable Specialist maintains working relationships with dealers to support current and future business needs. All transactions are processed with optimum efficiency, timeliness, and accuracy, assuring compliance with policies and procedures. This position will manage an equipment finance/lease portfolio as it related to customer service, collection efforts, repossession, liquidation, and providing operation support to the sales team.
POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Contacts Customers regarding past due accounts
- Receives customer complaints regarding charges on account
- Research disputed delinquent account balances
- Receives and responds to tenants’ correspondence by mail concerning questions and charges on accounts.
- Understand and interpret lease language
- Track Customer information using our sales force system
- Defend Company's stance on charges and work through Customer disputes
- Work with Accounting department on disputes to resolve and collect monies or have the Customer account corrected
- Strive to collect delinquencies while maintaining professional conduct in dealings with Customers, other departments, and management.
- Manage the default process
- Assist with the Bankruptcy and Litigation process
- Assist with communications and assist in coordinating legal account with outside counsel
- Manages the repossession process from the decision to repossess delivering of the asset
- Completes work out reports
- Reviews payoff and liens release requests
- Handle all related issues to UCC-1 filings- terminations, extensions etc.
- Conduct SCRA checks as needed
- Prepare notice of intent and notice of sales
- Secure outside firms to asset with the recovery of assets
- Coordinate invoicing and payments for storage, repairs etc. associated with off lease equipment.
- Performs other duties as required
REQUIRED SKILLS

- Understand basic contract and legal terminology
- A keen ability to resolve and decrease delinquency accounts with professionalism and urgency.
- Demonstrated accuracy and sound judgement, proven analytical skills.
- A high degree of professionalism.
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

- Willing to put in extra time to handle repossessions when agents on the ground.
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business (preferred), or 5 years’ related experience in a commercial collection’s environment
- 2 years’ leadership experience.
- 3+ years of proven attention to detail, excellent organization skills and excellent time management in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of equipment lending industry is ideal
