Job Overview: The Director of Information Technology will manage, design, coordinate, and direct the company’s information technology (IT) operations, ensuring the department provides efficient and effective technical support service. This individual deploys information technology architecture strategies to accommodate current and future organizational needs.
POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead, Manage and hold Accountable direct reports (LMA)
- Hires and trains and cross trains IT staff.
- Schedules, organizes, and assigns projects to members of the IT team.
- Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
- Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.
POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leads development and implementation processes for the organization’s IT systems and department.
- Provides ongoing analysis and planning of banks’ technology stack related to the strategic plan. Evaluates and implements procedures and equipment for maximum efficiency and cost containment.
- Develops and implements business continuity protocols to minimize disruption to business operations in the event of emergency situations or data loss.
- Establishes efficient and effective standards, providing recommendations for improvement of IT infrastructure.
- Analyzes IT infrastructure and systems performance to assess operating costs, productivity levels, upgrade requirements, and other metrics and needs.
- Oversees security of systems, networks, and enterprise information.
- Collaborates with internal and external auditors as well as bank examiners to facilitate efficient responses to audits and exams.
- Develops and maintains relationships with external IT vendors and service providers.
- Budget, manage, and control expenses for all Info Tech related vendors ensuring data security, service level agreements, and service delivery standards are met.
- Ensure internal policies and procedures are being followed within the IT department.
- Budget, manage, and control expenses for all Information Technology related vendors ensuring data security, service level agreements, and service delivery standards are met.
- May work after hours as needed to keep systems operational including facilitating repairs, conversions, installations, special projects, and/or if system is not operating as expected.
- Manage information security, physical security, vendor management and core administrator.
- Performs other related duties and projects as required and assigned.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science required; master’s degree or MBA preferred.
- At least five years of experience managing an IT department.
Pay Range: $95,000-$130,000 annual. Starting pay is determined based on several factors, which can include the candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and geographic area.
